About My Music
I am singer-songwriter and cover artist inspired by various genres including pop, R&B, funk, soul, jazz, and musical theatre. Throughout the years, I've had formal lessons and experience in both classical piano and vocal performance as well as in music theory training. In college, I also participated in an a hip hop/R&B-focused a cappella group, the gospel & concert choirs, and a few musical theatre productions. I have less time to write and create music during graduate school, but I'm always down for an impromptu jam session or collaboration. Right now (in Michigan), I’m keeping up with music by accompanying the choir at my local church on the piano and playing cello in a local community orchestra. Feel free to reach out - enjoy! 🎧
